About Founder

Sanjana Muthreja is an internationally acclaimed belly dancer, educator, and artist with over 18 years of experience. A pioneer in Egyptian and Fusion Belly Dance, Sanjana has redefined the art form in India through her institution, Art of Bellydance with Sanjana.

Driven by her passion for empowering dancers, Sanjana created and curated an in-depth belly dance course that caters to aspiring dancers at all levels. Her structured program spans multiple levels, combining technique, artistry, and personal expression. Through her teacher training program, she has helped countless students fulfill their dream of mastering belly dance while equipping them to become professional instructors themselves.

Renowned for her expertise in 'Drum Solo' and 'Bollywood Belly,' Sanjana was trained by the legendary Sadie Marquardt, the queen of Drum Solo. She also incorporates elements of Kathak and Yoga into her teaching, offering a holistic approach that blends tradition with innovation.
